People started gathering early in the CliqueArt space on Thursday, February 22nd. Most had something to do with Epirus and Ioannina, as well as with the land beyond who organized the event.
The author Michalis Speggos and the organizer Panagiota Balopoulou welcomed the people from an early age. Michalis was happy to meet new people and discover old acquaintances. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.
The presentation was made in the form of an interview, when Panagiota addressed to Michalis a series of questions about his work in general but also about the specific, new novel, The Love in Blood. Among the interesting and rich answers of Michalis, the reading of three selected excerpts from the book was included. Mary Panousi uniquely performed Amalia, Elias Conteas brought Mr. Giannis with us to the room with his voice, and Vasso Anagnostou "dressed" with her sweet voice Vivi's love affair with the student. (All chapters from the book).
This was followed by questions from the audience, who in turn "interrogated" the author with real interest. The unique atmosphere that bound the acquaintance of the audience and the creator continued during the reception. Michalis Speggos signed his books, which were sold out.
The next country warmly thanks CliqueArt for the hospitality, its friends for their contribution to the success of the night, Dimitris Fatouros (who unfortunately for family reasons deprived us of his presence) for offering the wine at the reception.
Many thanks also to Giannis Papadopoulos, President of the Association of Epirotes of Belgium, who prefaced the event with a very interesting and moving introduction.
