Tour of the Byzantine and modern Greek monuments of the area

Nature has worn its spring clothes but the weather is slightly wintery. This is how our tour begins this Easter with its guests in the next country who manage to combine visits and hiking with the religious excitement of the day and the four-day services in the beautiful churches of the villages of central and western Zagori.

Surprisingly, on Good Friday it makes sunny weather all day with high temperature and allows us a comfortable visit to Tsepelovo, with a visit to the Ioannidis Mansion, the Tsoufleio Pharmacy (exhibition space now) and the Rogovo Monastery with the unique hagiographies. We continued to Kapesovo and Paschalio School. We performed the service and procession of the Epitaph in Ano Pedina. On Holy Saturday we started from Aristi and Voidomatis Bridge and on our hike in the area we discovered the monastery of Panagia Spilaiotissa, of 1665 AD. (unfortunately closed). Resurrection in I.N. Brigadiers of Ano Vitsa and a brilliant walk in Monodendri with a walk in the Monastery of Ag Paraskevi, where we enjoyed the evocative view of the ravine of Vikos.
